I was born and raised in Nagasaki.
I'm very familiar with the best sightseeing locations and attractions in the city.
Nagasaki is a fascinating and interesting city visited by lots of foreign tourists every year.
I have guided many foreign tourists as an English tour guide for the past several years..
I always enjoy guiding every tourist and provide them with my best hospitality.

The transportation fee and lunch for you and a guide will be paid by the customer.
-If you pay an extra transportation fee, I can also guide you in other areas on Kyushu region.
However, I can not start the tour before 10:30 a.m. because of the location of my house.
- If you book me before sending an inquiry, please note you may be requested to pay an extra guide fee for the hotel meetup (about 2000 JPY) depending on the location.
Yoshi was very helpful in setting up the tour for us including telling us which trains to take from Hakata since Nagasaki was a day trip for us. She was very flexible in the scheduling of the sights and also, gave us recommendations of what to see. We went to the Atomic Bomb Museum, Oura Cathedral, Inasayama Observatory and the 26 Martyrs memorial. Yoshi was very informative on all of these sites and also, gave us more insight to other things we saw along the way. Noriko was also very helpful finding a lunch restaurant that could accomodate our son's food allergies. We were very happy with the tour and would highly recommend her.

Yoshi gave us an excellent tour of the Atomic Bomb Museum and the Peace Park. Her English is excellent, and she had many personal stories to share. We had a delicious lunch of Chapon, visited the "Spectacles" Bridge and the toured the historic site of Dejima Island. Then we walked down the main old shopping street. All in all it was a perfect tour and a very memorable day. I highly recommend using Yoshiko as your tour guide in Nagasaki!

Without doubt, Yoshi arranged and executed this personalized tour perfectly. I have never had a better tour guide or tour experience. She is extremely knowledgeable about Nagasaki’s history. Her English is excellent. Most importantly, Yoshi went above and beyond what I expect from a guide. Learning in advance that my wife lived and went to school in Nagasaki over 50 years ago, Yoshi tracked down and copied school records from the 1960’s. She then arranged a special visit to the old school. All-in-all she made it the most special day.

My husband and I were so pleased that we had Yoshi as our guide for our one day trip to Nagasaki. She was considerate of our interests while highlighting some of the unique sights of Nagasaki so we get a true flavour of this beautiful and rich city. She was organized yet flexible and planned our route well to maximize our time in the city. Through Yoshi’s professional guiding and passion of the city where she grew up, we got a deeper knowledge about Nagasaki’s multifaceted history, culture and the background of the sights we visited. Yoshi has excellent command of English and it was a delight to spend the day with her. We came to appreciate this city from Yoshi in a deep and meaningful way, more so than if we venture on our own.
