A 2.5 hour walking tour of Toronto's downtown core. This tour will cover some of Toronto's iconic sites, like City Hall, Eaton Centre, waterfront, Financial district, Entertainment district, St. Lawrence market, Distillery district, Kensington market, and others. The exact route and itinerary will depend on the starting point (e.g. your hotel) and the weather, and can be customized to your preferences.
I will meet you in the lobby of your downtown hotel, where we can discuss the route, in case you have any particular preferences.
We will visit Toronto's side-by-side City Hall buildings, The iconic TORONTO sign, and Nathan Phillips square plaza. I will also point out the Eaton Centre shopping mall, and go inside, if you would like to see it.
We will walk though the streets of Toronto's downtown Chinatown, with its exotic food shops, and restaurants.
We will walk past the Art Gallery of Ontario, Canada's only Gehry designed building, and home to many art collections. If a visit is requested, that can be arranged separately.
A tour around one of Toronto's most diverse and vibrant neighbourhoods. I will talk about its history, and point out some interesting places to have lunch. The tour will end here.
