Chiaki did a wonderful job showing us around Tokyo and helping us get acquainted on the first day of our trip to Japan! She taught us how to navigate the subway and was insightful at every place we went to. She knew good places to stop and shop or eat at or places to try samples. She also did a great job helping my mother who had mobility issues. We highly recommend her to anyone!
Dear Walter, thank you for posting a lovely comment for me! I really enjoyed myself guiding you and your family around Tsukiji, Fukagawa Edo Museum and Shibamata. You have a beautiful family! Your daughters are so cute! It was fun to see them buying candies at the store. Please send my best wishes to Catherine, Claire, Ella and especially Linda. Arigato!
We had a great tour with Chiaki in Tokyo! She is a wonderful guide with expert knowledge of Tokyo! Communication was great from the time we booked and she worked with us on a custom itinerary. The day of our tour it was raining so Chiaki had a wonderful suggestion for a change to the start of our tour and then once the weather cleared we were able to see all the sights on our itinerary. Chiaki was very helpful in explaining all the different Tokyo train and subway lines and stations and how to navigate them! She also explained a lot of Japanese culture to us during our tour and we left her much better informed. We highly recommend Chiaki for a tour if you are in Tokyo!
Dear Matt, thank you for your great comment! I deeply appreciate it. It was fun for me to spend a time with you in the museum and experience the lifestyle of Japanese people 200 years ago. We were lucky about the weather and the rain almost stopped when we were out from the museum. I hope that you will enjoy the time in Kyoto and safely go back home in California. Please say hello to Nora and come back to Tokyo some day soon! Thank you again!
We had the most wonderful time with Chiaki! Her communication before, during and after the tour were timely and informative. She made several suggestions on where to go which worked out perfectly. She will tailor the trip to your needs. She offered a lot of background and history on the sites we visited. She took us to unique vantage points, knew the shortest way to get to sites. We wanted to learn the subway and train system better and she took us on several different routes which was extremely helpful. She is quiet and very calm, we went to a garden and not only walked around but sat for awhile enjoying the scenery, which was a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of the temples and trains. I highly recommend Chiaki and plan to use her services next time we come to Tokyo!
Thank you Cheryl, for your fantastic review and photos! It was one of the best comments I got from my guests! The tour with you and Bob was enjoyable and memorable for me like I already wrote in my mail because you find beauty and fun in everything you see and experience (even when you went to the mountain in Hakodate and couldn’t see anything because of the fog!). It was my pleasure to guide you and I loved every moment to be with you. Please keep your great curiosity and enjoy your time in Tokyo. Please say thank you to Bob! I’m looking forward to seeing you in your next visit to Japan! Thank you again!
We spent a wonderful afternoon with Chiaki exploring Tokyo together. It was our first day in Tokyo and we are very glad we did this tour as our first activity. Chiaki was so friendly and knowledgeable, showing us how to use Tokyo's complicated rail system and even helping show us how to book Shinkansen tickets from the machines. Chiaki was very responsive online prior to the tour and customised the perfect tour based on our interests. We visited popular sites such as the Imperial Palace and Senso-ji, but our favourite part was exploring Yanaka Ginza and Nezu Shrine. It was so wonderful to see a different side of Tokyo, and wandering the back streets with Chiaki was a lot of fun. We would highly recommend a personalised tour with Chiaki during your time in Tokyo. We had a fantastic time and learnt so much. Thank you so much Chiaki for a wonderful afternoon!
Dear Sarah, Thank you so much for taking time to post such a fascinating review! Yes, strolling through the narrow backstreets of Yanaka with you and Shawn was a joyful and peaceful experience for me, too! Thank you for the wonderful afternoon! You seemed to be very energetic and having fun even though you had a long journey and arrived in Tokyo in the morning of the day. I think you have already driven to Mt. Fuji and visited Kyoto, and the trip must have been fantastic! I hope you will enjoy the rest of your trip and safely go back home to Sydney. Thank you again and please come and visit Japan again!
