A Four hours cruising and walking tour, beggining sailing the calm waters of the Guanabara bay, the place of birth of Rio de Janeiro, followed by a walking tour to the Republic Museum and part of the history of the Brazilian Republic until the 1960´s.

Walking to the the Igreja do Outeiro da Glória, facing the Guanabara Bay. The baptism church of the Emperors of Brazil.
Visit to the ancient Presidential Palace during the time Rio de Janeiro was the Capital of Brasil (1763/1960).
After the visit the clients will be near the districts of Flamengo, Glória and Laranjeiras. Subway available in the area.

Transportation to meeting point, back to the hotel, boat and museum access tickets.

Not available during Christmas or New Year´s days and Mondays. Off Season from April up to December only operates on Saturdays.
- The boat tickets will be booked by me (your guide), but will be paid directly by the visitors directly at the Marina da Glória.
- The boat cruise lasts exactly two hours. For those that may suffer from sea sickness a remedy is advisable, as sunblcok and sun caps.
We took this tour on the first morning in Rio, and it was a perfect start. Marcelo gave us an excellent overview of the city, showing us perspectives you wouldn’t find by yourself, and made us feel comfortable in Rio. His English is excellent, and he is passionate about his city. After this intro, we continued on our own, as we were confident that we are in safe areas. Obrigado, Marcelo!
